Aggregate Winnings – The combined sum of all the winnings won during a day of play.

Ante – Term used for card games that denotes the bet needed to begin playing.

Banker – This is the dealer in a card game typically. There are games where the players take turns being the banker, as well.

Barred – Means a player is not allowed to enter the casino premises under any circumstances.

Beef – A dispute between a given player and the dealer or other people within a casino, normally triggered by a player believing they have been treated unfairly.

Bonus – Cash given to players who play on a casino over the web for a variety of different reasons casino.

Call – A poker term that denotes a player expressing their desire to match a current bet in play.

IVT – These are Interactive Video Terminals such as video poker.

Jackpot – A substantial win that can occur on a slot machine.

Loose – The description of a slot machine that is know to give out lucrative payouts when one wins.

Qualifier – This is a poker term that refers to the lowest possible hand one needs to participate in the pot.

Straight Keno – The unadulterated original version of Keno played simply by selecting numbers on a ticket.

Table Stakes – This is a phrase used to describe a situation where the stakes are such that the player can only bet or raise the money on the table.

Taking the Odds – This is a form of betting where the player will wager an amount that is less than they can get if they win, the common concept in casinos. Differs from sports betting.

Tapping Out – This is what players are doing when they have spent all the money they had for the day.
